Welcome to CORE Languages! We’re excited to have you join our community of passionate language instructors. Follow this step-by-step guide to get started and connect with eager students.
1. Sign Up & Set Up Your Profile
- Click on the Sign Up button at the top right of our website.
- Complete the registration form to create your teacher account.
- Once logged in, explore the navigation panels to familiarize yourself with the platform.
- Head to “My Profile” to update your community profile—this is your introduction to students and fellow teachers.
- Click Edit to update different sections of your profile.
- Share details such as:
- The languages you teach.
- Your work experience and qualifications.
- Links to your social networks (optional).
- A short biography about yourself.
2. Join Study Groups & Engage with Students
- Visit the Study Groups section in our online community.
- Join the groups for the languages you are interested in teaching.
- Click on a group and then select “Join Group” to participate.
- Introduce yourself to the community!
- Each time you post to a group, all members receive an email notification. This is a great way to engage potential students—but don’t spam!
- Limit your posts to once per day per group.
- Make posts fun, engaging, and educational to help students get to know you!
3. Apply to Teach with CORE Languages
If you’d like to teach paid classes on our platform, you must apply:
- Visit our Teach with Us page:

- We will review your application and respond within 24 hours to get you onboarded as a teacher.
4. Benefits of Teaching with CORE Languages
- Keep 80% of revenue from the classes you teach!
- Gain access to corporate clients who need professional language training.
- Set your own rates for private classes—choose how much you earn per hour!
5. Complete Your Teacher Profile & Scheduling Setup
Once accepted, log in to your CORE Languages account and follow these steps:
Access Your Scheduling Dashboard
- Click on Scheduling Dashboard from the left-hand menu.
- Your email address will be displayed with two tabs:
- Appointments → Private and semi-private classes you’re scheduled to teach.
- Events → Group classes you’re leading.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to your email address and select “My Profile” to update your teaching settings.
Fill in Your Profile Details
- Under Details, complete all required fields.
- Under Description, we include the line “Learn more about [Teacher Name] here”, which links to your community profile where students can see more about you, including videos.
Set Your Language & Pricing
- Under Languages, select the language(s) you teach.
- Leave corporate service pricing as is (pre-set).
- For private lessons, set your preferred hourly rate (e.g., Private German – $45 per hour).
Set Your Availability
- Under Working Hours, select the days and times you’re available for lessons.
- Students will only be able to book during these times, so ensure accuracy!
- If your schedule changes, update it ASAP to avoid conflicts.
Manage Your Time Off
- Under Days Off, add any days you don’t want students to book (e.g., vacations, personal days).
- Under Special Days, CORE Languages will block off specific dates for platform maintenance or special events.
6. Connect with Students & Start Teaching!
Now that your profile and schedule are set up, start engaging with students in the community!
- Post helpful, engaging content in study groups to attract students.
- Once students book with you, check your dashboard for upcoming sessions.
- Teach, inspire, and grow your student base!
