How to use reconocer in the affirmative commands

The tú command is regular (reconoce), while the others come from the subjunctive with zc: reconozca, reconozcamos, reconozcan. Reconozcamos que... is common in speeches and meetings to introduce an uncomfortable truth, much like Let's be honest in English. Reconoce que... is a friendly, teasing way to make someone admit something, as in Reconoce que te gustó. Negative commands use the subjunctive: no reconozcas nada sin hablar con tu abogado.
