How to use querer in the affirmative commands
Commands with querer are rare, since you cannot really order someone to want something. The forms exist (quiere, quiera, quieran) and appear mostly in affectionate or set phrases, such as "Quiérete mucho" (love yourself). For polite requests, use "quisiera" or "¿quieres...?" instead of an imperative. The phrase "quiera o no quiera" (whether he likes it or not) is one place where the usted form shows up naturally.
