How to use querer in the present
The present of querer changes e to ie except in nosotros: quiero, quieres, quiere, queremos, quieren. Use it for wishes and plans with an infinitive ("Quiero aprender") or a noun ("Quiero un café"), and for affection with people ("Te quiero"). "¿Quieres...?" is a natural way to offer or invite: "¿Quieres un café?"
