How to use decir in the present

In the present, decir has the yo form digo and changes e to i in the other singular forms and the third person plural: dices, dice, dicen. Nosotros stays regular (decimos). Use it to report what people say ("Dice que viene") and in phrases like "¿Cómo se dice...?" and "¿Qué quiere decir...?" In a phone call, "¿Diga?" or "¿Dígame?" is a common way to answer in Spain.
