How to use llegar in the present
The present of llegar is fully regular: llego, llegas, llega, llegamos, llegan. Use it for routines ("Llego a las nueve"), for schedules ("El tren llega a las cinco") and, in Latin America, also for something about to happen: "Ya llego" means "I'm almost there." It also builds the idiom "llegar a ser" for what someone becomes.
