Offrir conjugation French verb
Offrir means to give something as a gift (offrir des fleurs), to offer (offrir un poste, offrir son aide), and to treat someone (je t'offre un café). It follows the ouvrir pattern, so it takes -er endings in the present and has the past participle offert. Compound tenses use avoir: j'ai offert.
- to offer; to give (as a gift)
- irregular
- Past participle: offert
- Present participle: offrant
- Auxiliary: avoir
Offrir in the Présent (present): j'offre, tu offres, il offre, nous offrons, vous offrez, ils offrent.

How offrir conjugates
Offrir conjugates like ouvrir. The present uses -er endings: j'offre, tu offres, il offre, nous offrons, vous offrez, ils offrent, and the tu imperative is offre with no s. The future keeps the -ir: j'offrirai. The irregular form to learn is the past participle offert, which also gives you the passé composé j'ai offert. In the passé simple the -ir pattern returns: il offrit.
