How voir conjugates
Voir is irregular with a y in nous voyons, vous voyez and the imparfait (je voyais), alongside i in the other present forms (je vois, ils voient). Remember the double i in nous voyions and vous voyiez in the imparfait and subjunctive. The future and conditional use the unusual stem verr- (je verrai, je verrais). The past participle is vu, and the passé simple is je vis, which looks like the present of vivre.
