How courir conjugates

Courir is built on the stem cour-. The present is je cours, tu cours, il court, nous courons, vous courez, ils courent, with only one r. The future and conditional have a double r because the i of the infinitive drops: je courrai, nous courrions. Pronounce the double r slightly longer to tell je courrais (conditional) from je courais (imparfait). The past participle is couru. Parcourir and secourir follow the same pattern.
