How faire conjugates
Faire is irregular. In the present, watch vous faites (not vous faisez) and ils font. Nous faisons is written with ai but pronounced like "fe", which also holds for the imparfait (je faisais) and the gerund faisant. The future and conditional use the short stem fer- (je ferai, je ferais), and the subjunctive uses fass- throughout (que je fasse, que nous fassions). The past participle is fait: j'ai fait.
