How comprendre conjugates
Comprendre follows prendre: je comprends, tu comprends, il comprend, then nous comprenons and vous comprenez without the d, and ils comprennent with a double n. The subjunctive is que je comprenne, que nous comprenions. The future is je comprendrai. The past participle is compris (feminine comprise), which also works as an adjective: service compris, TVA comprise. In speech, j'ai compris is the usual way to say "got it".
