How fare conjugates

Fare comes from Latin facere, so many forms use the stem fac-: faccio, facciamo, facevo, feci, facessi and the gerund facendo. The present is faccio, fai, fa, facciamo, fate, fanno. The future and conditional use far- (farò, farei). The passato remoto is irregular in feci, fece, fecero, and the past participle is fatto. The tu imperative is fai or fa' (Fa' attenzione!). Learn faccio, fatto and the imperfect facevo first.
