How sentire conjugates

Sentire is a regular -ire verb without -isc-: sento, senti, sente, sentiamo, sentite, sentono. The future and conditional keep the i: sentirò, sentirei. The passato remoto is sentii, sentì, sentirono. The informal "Senti" (listen) and the formal "Senta" (excuse me) are used all the time to get someone's attention. Dormire, aprire and offrire follow the same model.
