How tenere conjugates

Tenere follows the same pattern as venire: a g in the io and loro present forms and in the subjunctive (tengo, tengono, tenga), and ie in the stressed tu and lui forms (tieni, tiene). The future and conditional contract to terr-: terrò, terrei. The passato remoto is tenni, tenne, tennero, and the participle is tenuto. Mantenere, ottenere, contenere and sostenere conjugate the same way.
