How andare conjugates
Andare mixes two stems. Forms stressed on the ending use and- (andiamo, andate, andavo, andai), while forms stressed on the stem use va-/vad-: vado, vai, va, vanno and the subjunctive vada. The future and conditional contract to andr-: andrò, andrei. The tu imperative is vai or va', and the passato remoto is regular (andai, andò). Use a with cities and in with countries and regions: vado a Milano, vado in Germania.
