How restare conjugates

Restare is a regular -are verb: resto, resti, resta, restiamo, restate, restano; resterò, resterei; restai, restò. Use essere in all compound tenses: sono restato, eravamo restati. Restare male (to be disappointed) and restare d'accordo (to agree on something) are common expressions. Rimanere means the same, and many speakers switch freely between the two.
