How scendere conjugates

The present, imperfect, future and conditional are regular -ere forms: scendo, scendevo, scenderò, scenderei. The participle is sceso (sono sceso, era scesa). In the passato remoto, io, lui/lei and loro use sces-: scesi, scese, scesero, while tu, noi and voi stay regular (scendesti, scendemmo, scendeste). Spendere (speso, spesi) and prendere (preso, presi) follow the same pattern. Remember that the participle agrees with the subject when the auxiliary is essere.
