How to use ayudar in the affirmative commands
The commands are regular: ayuda (tú), ayude (usted), ayudemos (nosotros), ayuden (ustedes). Attached pronouns add an accent: ayúdame, ayúdenos. ¡Ayuda! on its own is what you shout in an emergency. Negative commands use the subjunctive: no le ayudes. Ayudémonos is used for mutual support, for example among neighbors after a storm. In shops and offices, signs often use the ustedes form to address staff, as in Ayuden a los clientes a encontrar lo que buscan.
