How to use ayudar in the conditional
The conditional is regular: ayudaría, ayudarías, ayudaría, ayudaríamos, ayudarían. ¿Me ayudarías...? is a very polite way to ask for help, softer than ¿Me ayudas? It also expresses suggestions: Ayudaría tener más datos, It would help to have more data. In reported speech: Dijo que me ayudaría, She said she would help me. With si + imperfect subjunctive, it describes help you would give if you could, which is a gentle way to decline: Si tuviera tiempo, te ayudaría.

Si tuviera tiempo, te ayudaría encantada.
