How to use entender in the affirmative commands

Commands are entiende (tú), entienda (usted) and entiendan (ustedes). They often show up when asking for understanding: entiéndeme, por favor, or entienda mi situación. Negative commands use the subjunctive, as in the useful no me malinterpretes or no me entiendas mal (don't get me wrong). Entendamos works as 'let's understand' or 'let's be clear': entendamos primero el problema. Pronouns attach with an accent: entiéndanlo.
