How to use entender in the present
In the present, entender changes e to ie in four forms: entiendo, entiendes, entiende, entienden, while entendemos keeps the e. This is where you will use the verb most: no entiendo, ¿me entiendes?, ya entiendo. It also expresses knowledge of a field with de (entiende de computadoras) and, in the reflexive, how people get along: nos entendemos bien. Memorize no entiendo first.

Mis hermanos y yo nos entendemos muy bien.
