How to use haber in the present subjunctive
The present subjunctive of haber is haya, hayas, haya, hayamos, hayan. Impersonally, "haya" means "there is/there be" after wishes and doubts: "Ojalá haya lugar." As an auxiliary, it forms the present perfect subjunctive: "Espero que hayas descansado." Watch the spelling: haya (from haber) is different from halla (from hallar) and allá (over there).
