How to use ocurrir in the future
The future is regular: ocurrirá, ocurrirán. It is used for predictions and formal announcements (el eclipse ocurrirá a las tres), and in questions it expresses uncertainty: ¿qué ocurrirá ahora? It is also the natural tense for promising that something will not happen again: eso no ocurrirá otra vez. In everyday speech you will also hear va a ocurrir or, more often, va a pasar.

El eclipse ocurrirá poco después del mediodía.
The eclipse will happen shortly after noon.
Le aseguro que esto no ocurrirá otra vez.
I assure you this won't happen again.
¿Qué ocurrirá con los empleados después de la fusión?
