How to use andar in the present
The present is regular: ando, andas, anda, andamos, andan. Besides walking, it often describes how someone is doing or what they are up to: ¿Cómo andas?, Ando cansado. With a gerund it means to be going around doing something: Anda diciendo que se va. In Latin America, caminar is more common for the physical act of walking.
