How to use comenzar in the affirmative commands

Commands are comienza (tú), comience (usted), comencemos (nosotros) and comiencen (ustedes). Comencemos is a classic way to open a meeting or class: bueno, comencemos. Negative commands use the subjunctive: no comiences sin mí. Pronouns attach with a written accent: comiénzalo, comiéncelo. In Spain, the vosotros command is comenzad. On instructions, the usted form is common: comience por leer las indicaciones. Remember that the c spelling carries over to every subjunctive-based command, so it is comience and comiencen, never comienze.
