How continuar conjugates
Continuar is regular except for a written accent: the u takes an accent when it is stressed, which happens in continúo, continúas, continúa, continúan in the present and continúe, continúes, continúen in the subjunctive. Nosotros and vosotros have no accent (continuamos, continuemos). All other tenses are regular -ar: continué, continuaba, continuaré. The structure to learn is continuar + gerund.
