How to use convertir in the future
The future is regular: convertiré, convertirás, convertirá, convertiremos, convertirán. It is common in plans and predictions about change: la zona se convertirá en un centro de negocios. In conversation, se va a convertir is just as frequent. There is no stem change in this tense, because the endings attach to the full infinitive convertir-.

This neighborhood will become the most expensive area in the city.
Convertiremos la bodega en una sala de juntas.
We'll turn the storeroom into a meeting room.
