How to use llamar in the present
The present of llamar is regular: llamo, llamas, llama, llamamos, llaman. "Me llamo..." and "¿Cómo te llamas?" are the standard way to give and ask names. The present also works for an immediate future: "Te llamo mañana" (I'll call you tomorrow). "¿Quién llama?" asks who is calling, and "Llaman a la puerta" means someone is knocking.
