How to use ver in the imperfect
The imperfect of ver is veía, veías, veía, veíamos, veían. It keeps the e from the infinitive, which makes it irregular. Use it for repeated past viewing ("Veía las noticias cada noche") and for background: "No veía nada sin mis lentes." It can also mean "used to see someone" regularly.
