How to use aceptar in the preterite

The preterite is regular: acepté, aceptaste, aceptó, aceptamos, aceptaron. Use it for offers, invitations and terms that were accepted at a specific moment: aceptó la invitación, aceptaron nuestra propuesta. With an infinitive, aceptó means 'agreed to': aceptó reunirse con nosotros. Remember the written accents on acepté and aceptó, which separate them from acepte and acepto. Aceptamos is the same in the present and the preterite.
