How to use aceptar in the present
Aceptar is regular in the present: acepto, aceptas, acepta, aceptamos, aceptan. ¿Aceptan tarjeta? and ¿aceptan dólares? are essential questions when shopping or traveling. Use it also for agreeing to proposals (acepto tu propuesta) and for coming to terms with something: acepto que fue un error. On websites, acepto los términos means 'I accept the terms'. Note that aceptamos is the same in the present and the preterite.
