How to use elegir in the present subjunctive
Every present subjunctive form has both i and j: elija, elijas, elija, elijamos, elijáis, elijan. Use it after lo que, cuando and wishes: Lo que elijas está bien, Cuando elijas la fecha, avísame. It also appears in instructions that offer options to a customer or patient. Remember that even nosotros changes here: elijamos, unlike the present indicative elegimos.

Lo que elijas me parece bien.
Whatever you choose is fine with me.
Cuando elijan la fecha, avísenme.
When you choose the date, let me know.
Es importante que elijamos un lugar con buen acceso.
It's important that we choose a place with good access.
