Elegir present conjugation
Elegir in the present: elijo, eliges, elige, elegimos, elegís, eligen.

How to use elegir in the present
The present combines both changes: elijo (e→i and g→j), eliges, elige, eligen. Nosotros and vosotros keep the e: elegimos, elegís. Use it for choices you make regularly or right now: ¿Cuál eliges? It is also how menus and offers describe options: Usted elige el postre. Elijo is the form learners most often get wrong.

Cada empleado elige sus días de vacaciones.
