How to use hablar in the present
The present of hablar is the model for regular -ar verbs: hablo, hablas, habla, hablamos, hablan. Use it for languages ("Hablamos español en casa"), current conversations and habits. "Se habla español" on a sign means "Spanish spoken here." "¿Con quién hablo?" is a polite way to ask who is on the phone.
