How to use parecer in the preterite
The preterite of parecer is regular: parecí, pareciste, pareció, parecimos, parecieron. "Me pareció" gives an opinion about a finished event: "Me pareció muy buena la película." "¿Qué te pareció?" is the natural way to ask what someone thought of a meeting, meal or trip. The accent on pareció is essential.
