How to use parecer in the present subjunctive
The present subjunctive of parecer keeps the zc of parezco: parezca, parezcas, parezca, parezcamos, parezcan. It appears in "aunque no lo parezca" (even if it doesn't seem so), after doubts ("No creo que le parezca bien") and in "como te parezca" (however you think best). It is common in negotiations and polite deference.

No creo que al director le parezca bien.
I don't think the director will like it.
Aunque no lo parezca, es muy tímido.
Even if it doesn't look like it, he is very shy.
