How to use utilizar in the conditional
The conditional is regular: utilizaría, utilizarías, utilizaría, utilizaríamos, utilizarían. Use it for recommendations (Yo utilizaría otra fuente) and hypotheses. It is a polite way to suggest a change in a colleague's work, and it appears in reported plans: Dijeron que utilizarían los fondos para la escuela. It also works in survey-style questions about hypothetical products: ¿Utilizarías esta aplicación si fuera gratis? Remember that the z stays here, because it comes before i.
