Ocurrir conjugation Spanish verb
Ocurrir means to happen or occur, and it sounds a bit more formal than pasar: ¿qué ocurrió? fits a report, ¿qué pasó? a chat. With an indirect object pronoun, ocurrirse means that an idea occurs to someone: se me ocurrió una idea. In this use the idea is the subject, so the verb agrees with it, not with the person.
- to happen, to occur; to occur to (someone)
- regular
- Participle: ocurrido
- Gerund: ocurriendo
Ocurrir in the present: ocurro, ocurres, ocurre, ocurrimos, ocurrís, ocurren.
