  • Gerund: viniendo

Venir in the present: vengo, vienes, viene, venimos, venís, vienen.

How venir conjugates

Venir looks a lot like tener. The present has the yo form vengo and an e→ie change in vienes, viene, vienen, while venimos stays regular. The preterite uses the stem vin-: vine, vino, vinieron, with no accents. The future and conditional add a d: vendré, vendría. The present subjunctive is venga, the gerund viniendo, and the tú command is the short form ven. Prevenir and convenir follow the same pattern.
