How to use leer in the present subjunctive

The present subjunctive is regular: lea, leas, lea, leamos, lean. Use it after requests and recommendations (te recomiendo que leas este libro), after para que, and with cuando for future events. Es importante que lea... is common in instructions and on forms. The y does not appear here, because the a ending does not create the vowel cluster that triggers it.
