How to use suponer in the present subjunctive
The present subjunctive is built on supongo: suponga, supongas, supongamos, supongan. Supongamos que... (let's suppose that...) is very useful for setting up hypotheticals in meetings and classes. It also appears after doubt and negation: no creo que suponga un problema. The g appears in every form. In polite instructions, suponga que... introduces a scenario, as in training exercises and exams. Forms without the g, like supona, do not exist.
