How to use traer in the present subjunctive
The present subjunctive is built on traigo: traiga, traigas, traiga, traigamos, traigan. Use it after requests (dile que traiga hielo), wishes and purpose clauses. Que traiga... is a common way to pass a request along: que traiga su identificación. The g appears in every form, so forms like traa or traya are mistakes. In Spain, the vosotros form is traigáis.
