How to use traer in the conditional

The conditional is regular: traería, traerías, traeríamos, traerían. Its most useful job is the polite request: ¿me traería la carta?, ¿nos traerías más servilletas? It also expresses hypotheticals and reported speech: dijo que traería el pastel. In restaurants and shops, it is a courteous alternative to the command form tráigame. There is no g and no j in this tense.
