How to use tratar in the present
The present of tratar is regular: trato, tratas, trata, tratamos, tratan. Use it for treating people ("Nos tratan muy bien"), trying ("Trato de no llegar tarde") and topics: "El libro trata de la migración." "¿De qué se trata?" asks what something is about. With tú and usted, "¿Nos tratamos de tú?" asks if you can be informal with someone.
