How to use encontrar in the present
The present of encontrar changes o to ue in all forms except nosotros: encuentro, encuentras, encuentra, encontramos, encuentran. "No encuentro..." is the everyday way to say you can't find something. Encontrarse in the present describes how someone feels or where something is: "El hotel se encuentra en el centro." That second use is common in formal writing.

No encuentro mis lentes por ningún lado.
I can't find my glasses anywhere.
El hospital se encuentra a cinco minutos del centro.
The hospital is five minutes from downtown.
¿Cómo te encuentras hoy?
