How to use entrar in the imperfect
The imperfect (entraba, entrabas, entrábamos, entraban) is regular. Use it for past habits, like the time you used to start work, or for a background action that something else interrupted: cuando entraba, sonó el teléfono. It also describes what used to be included or used to fit somewhere: antes el desayuno entraba en el precio. As with any regular -ar verb, only the nosotros form needs a written accent.
