How to use escribir in the present subjunctive
The present subjunctive changes the i of the ending to a: escriba, escribas, escribamos, escriban. Use it after requests and wishes (quiero que me escribas), after para que, and with cuando for future events: cuando escribas el informe, incluye las cifras. Escriba is also the usted command you see on forms. Escribamos is also the 'let's write' form, as in escribamos un borrador primero.

Le pedí al proveedor que escriba todo por correo.
I asked the supplier to put everything in an email.
Cuando escribas el informe, incluye las cifras del trimestre.
When you write the report, include the figures for the quarter.
Ojalá me escriba pronto.
I hope she writes to me soon.
