How to use servir in the conditional
The conditional is regular: serviría, servirías, serviríamos, servirían. It is the polite way to check if something would work for someone: ¿le serviría el martes? It also expresses hypotheses (esto serviría para la presentación) and reported speech. In shops and offices you will hear ¿le serviría otro modelo? when the item someone wants is out of stock. There is no stem change in this tense.
