How to use levantar in the present
The present is regular: levanto, levantas, levanta, levantamos, levantan. With the reflexive, it is the core of daily routine talk: ¿A qué hora te levantas? Without the reflexive, it describes lifting or raising something now or as a habit. Watch for figurative uses such as levantar el ánimo (to lift spirits), which appear in everyday conversation and in feedback.
Examples
¿A qué hora te levantas entre semana?
What time do you get up during the week?
Esta música siempre me levanta el ánimo.
This music always lifts my spirits.
