How to use seguir in the imperfect

The imperfect of seguir is regular: seguía, seguías, seguía, seguíamos, seguían. It describes ongoing states in the past, often with a gerund: "Seguía lloviendo cuando salimos." It is also used for things that were still true: "Seguía trabajando allí." There is no stem change in this tense. Pair it with "todavía" or "aún" to stress that something had not changed.
